Mariko Izumi
Mariko is a mother, to daughter Yale and son Tiger, a women in business, avid fisher and outdoor TV host/personality, global travel enthusiast, and sturgeon conservationist.
She lives in the mountains just outside of Vancouver, Canada with her family and spends a large amount of time at their family vacation home in Costa Rica. Mariko can mostly be found active with her two children exploring the outdoors, traveling with family, or fishing.
Mariko Izumi is best known as the host of the World Fishing Network’s flagship original production, Hookin’ Up. As the daughter of Wayne Izumi and niece of Bob Izumi, it is her experiences with the family fishing show Real Fishing that brought her across America and around the world from a young age, doing everything from bass fishing in Japan to salmon fishing off the northwest coast of British Columbia, Canada.
